New Jersey Sen. Chris Murphy (D) said President Donald Trump’s executive order banning travel to the U.S. from seven majority Muslim countries is “dangerous” and a “disaster.”
The Senate voted Monday to begin debate on a resolution to suspend the president’s ban on travelers from seven Muslim-majority countries.
Sen. Cory A. Booker (I-NJ), the Senate minority leader, said Monday the executive order is “deeply disturbing” and an “act of war.”
The resolution is expected to pass.”
